The Longest Day release long-awaited new album

Beyond Your Skies is the long-awaited fourth album from Sydney/Canberra duo The Longest Day and is the much anticipated follow-up to the duo’s 2009 album Night Falls.

Whilst the new material retains the sprawling shoegaze textures of their previous releases there is also an undeniable pop sensibility now present, making this album the duo’s most cohesive and accessible work to date.
The duo’s sonic palette is further expanded with contributions from long-time friend and collaborator Christy Romanick, as well as an appearance by Tim and Peter Hollo of acclaimed string quartet Fourplay.

Beyond Your Skies is available in both digital and CD formats (the latter in a beautifully packaged double gate-fold sleeve) from the Feral store now. Head over and immerse yourself in this stunning album.
